Stevenson Building
Tying services together at University of Glasgow
A viewing gallery/social learning space in overlooking the pool within the Stevenson Building-home of Sports and Recreation Services at University of Glasgow. The graphic artwork shown on ceiling panels and the glazing show various sports formations. The products and bespoke furniture specified act as a type of live prototype for a larger project on campus The Hub/Fraser Building due to be opened in 2009. Sports and Recreation are one of the few services who are not moving into the new building and this design seeks to 'tie' the services together through common design themes.
